The San Diego Westin Horton Plaza values its guests, so much that the hotel is smoke-free. With 450 guest rooms and suites, the Westin is appropriately fitting for the business savvy and traveling families alike.

Each room is a meeting space in itself, although the hotel does offer meeting rooms. The lobby itself is a great indicator of luxury, what is to be expected when staying at this downtown San Diego hotel. Not only do visitors get the comfort of the Westin, but the proximity of San Diego’s finest art and entertainment, located in the Gaslamp Quarter.

The rooms themselves offer the Heavenly bath, Heavenly beds, Heavenly cribs, and high speed Internet access. The most featured and talked-about amenity at the Westin is the Heavenly bed, consisting of a pillow-top mattresses, down comforters, pillows made of excess feathers, and comfort donned in white that cannot be supplied anywhere else.

If traveling with infants the Heavenly cribs are a miniature version of your sleeping arrangements. Designed to surpass U.S. safety standards, the Heavenly Crib offers padding and 4″ thick mattresses. The Westin would have it no other way than to give their guests a future of non-toxicity (as their Heavenly crib sheets boast), and a responsible way of traveling for the kids.

The Heavenly bath sets the standard for a sleek shower experience. With dual shower heads there is plenty of extra room to knock elbows. Want to stay inside for the day? Lounging around the room gets even easier with velour bathrobes and access to high speed Internet. Meetings no longer need to be in the hotel; at the Westin multimedia presentations can be delivered in the privacy of your own comfort-namely your room.
